For more than thirty years, we are a casual, and "gemuetliches" German-Texan restaurant, that is all about Sausages, Wiener Schnitzel and great Gerrman Beer and Wine. During all this time, Rudi has enjoyed a loyal and regular following and makes each visit memorable and personal. The restaurant is for many customers "their home away from home".
The very popular Heritage Dinner Dinner plate is a sampling of Red Cabbage, Sauerkraut, Austrian Potatoes, Sausages, Roasted Chicken, Pork Loin, Wiener Schnitzel and Sauerbraten. At least once you have to try Rudi's Pork Shank (Eisbein or Schweinshax'n) Enough food to feed even the hungriest Texas Cowboy! CRAIG H. HARTLEY : SPECIAL TO THE CHRONICLE There's an art to making good Wiener schnitzel, and chef Rudi Lechner has mastered it. The main event of the yaer is Oktberfest, starting middle of September and lasts till the end of Oktober. We serve the excellent Spaten Oktoberfest beer on draft, and many other draft beers nad bottled beers. Don't wait until Oktoberfest, the live music entertainment by Alpenfest is offered every evening from Wednesday through Saturday during the remainder of the year. Wednesday, also, is our family night with a "Oktoberfest" German sampler buffet from 6:30 until 9:00 pm for just $15.95 per person with a large selection of German beers and schnapps. However if you prefer a quiet evening on these days, we propose to reserve a table in the wine room. For your Private Parties or business meetings we offer the following facilities: the Huntroom for 45 persons, the Wine room for 20 persons and the Terrace (semi private) for 25 persons.
Practice your German language skills at our monthly Austian or German Stammtisch,a casual gathering for a bite and a beer, for beginners to native speakers. It's all for fun and no reservations is required.
